We have the good fortune of working with Bobby for a "live" case study. I will share Bobby's health history with you next week during the case study, but he is a two-time cancer survivor; prostate and renal cell. He also had injuries to both shoulders which made for a very interesting goniometric measurement session. Here are the results from his virtual goniometric measurement test:

LEFT RIGHT

FLEXION (150-180) 115 131
ABDUCTION (150-180) 121 118
EXTENSION (40-60) 49 37
INTERNAL R (40-60) 25 45
EXTERNAL R (70-90) 25 54

THE NORMS ARE LISTED NEXT TO EACH MOVEMENT. REMEMBER THAT THE CLIENT MUST HAVE 90% OR BETTER OF THE LOWEST END OF THE NORM PRIOR TO ADDING ANY FORM OF RESISTANCE - INCLUDING HOLDING A YOGA POSE!

Bobby had a torn R bicep and a broken L clavicle. Compare the measurements of both sides. How does the left compare to the right? Which planes and which side can he perform resistance exercises? Clue: all of the ones in red are less than 90%.

If you have any questions, please reach out to me. Try and make it to our two-hour case study as this will be an amazing learning experience!
