Breast cancer diagnosis 2001:

Right Mastectomy w/expander-implant

Right Axillary node dissection (lymphedema and axillary web syndrome risk)

Adriamyacin Cytoxin chemo (increased risk of heart disease, neuropathy, diabetes, osteoporosis, future cancers and a slight increase in lymphedema risk)

Tamoxifen for two years (forced menopause - osteoporosis risk)



2nd breast cancer diagnosis 2010 (same breast)

Remove the implant and have LAT flap (muscle will still function, but in breast now - still has an implant careful of rupture)

Left lumpectomy

Left sentinel node (lymphedema risk)

More chemo (COMPOUNDED - increased risk of heart disease, neuropathy, diabetes, osteoporosis, future cancers and a slight increase in lymphedema risk)



Radiation to left and right (lymphedema risk, heart/lung damage risk)

Tamoxifen for ten years (COMPOUNDED - forced menopause - osteoporosis risk)

POSTURAL ASSESSMENT:

  • head slightly rotated toward the right
  • right shoulder elevated and protracted
  • head slightly forward
  • slight winging left shoulder blade - slight to moderate on the right
  • slight lateral flexion left hip
  • slight hip rotation toward the right
  • slight elevation of left hip
  • Right knee laterally rotated w/slight hyperextension
  • Right foot supinated and laterally rotated
