REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING WHEN WRITING UP YOUR CASE STUDY:
  1. R.O.M. trumps strength training. He must have 90% or better of the lowest ROM norms prior to adding resistance or even holding a yoga pose
  2. Consider all of the acute and chronic side-effects of his surgeries and treatments (you can simply bullet point them)
  3. Consider the side-effects of his medications and how they will affect EXERCISE (one's that don't affect exercise are not our concern per se)
  4. Use the charts in module 3 to help you to identify which groups of muscles need stretching/strengthening and decide what exercises he would be doing. You can use ones in the book or your own that "do the same thing". I don't need to know the names - simply what it is you are trying to do ie: stretch pecs /strengthen rhomboids.
  5. Spend time going through the side effects of the various procedures and treatments so that you don't miss anything

Create a workout that includes frequency, intensity, and duration. How and when will you progress? This is a tough one! Feel free to start a chat in the Fb group. I will schedule a follow-up ZOOM after 11/15 for us to discuss results.
